Whether its for a Christmas list or something more in depth, up-to-date preferences are vital to the effectiveness of any behaviorally based program and myPref makes performing these assessments easy and accurate. No more worrying about reinforcer placement or calculations! Simply launch myPref and use the iPhone camera to take pictures of reinforcers you want to assess. This app will prompt you for all necessary information, and set up is a snap! The student can either select the items on the iPhone or the caregiver can use it as a guide for available real-life items. myPref also controls for side bias. All data is recorded and emailed in an easy to understand format, so no need for conspicuous clipboards and notebooks

Ill admit I didnt like the first version of this app (came out years ago). It looks like the company listened to suggestions and made this a lot more user friendly and produces an actual report (that I can use for the school district) at the end. It makes figuring out rewards a lot easier.
This is such a great app! I’ve had it for all of two days now and I’ve already used it to help teachers and parents collaborate on what reinforcers to use (and with such positive response from our learner!). And II plan on using it in making my own child’s chore charts ;) Thanks ABA Preference!
I could think of at least four different ways this could be used to motivate my kids and expand their skills! Im excited to purchase a subscription to try all of my ideas! I like the elegant lines of the app also :)
When the landscape is filled with special education apps that top out at mediocrity in trying to do EVERYthing, this app is designed for one (powerful) thing and does it well. And I commend the developer for this. Im interested in what other apps they make.
This app is super easy to use. You can choose pics right from your phone to upload, whether you take it yourself or save it to your phone from Google. The "share" aspect is great-- saves A LOT of time on formal assessment writing because it inputs all the results into an already made template.
